Higher Education

The Greater Manhattan Economic Partnership recognizes the value of higher education and we are proud of the variety of schools within the region. The three most widely recognized universities in the region are Kansas State University, Manhattan Christian College, and Manhattan Area Technical College. Along with these four-year universities, there are a handful of two-year colleges in the region promoting associate level work; these include establishments such as Highland Community College based in Wamego, Kansas.
